I know that everyone is complaining about the cold weather (-27 right now) so Julie and I will give our take. We were trying to think of a good picture that would represent these cold days. Julie suggested I go outside in my pajamas for 2 hours and then come inside for a photo of the frozen snot on my face. I then informed her that 2 hours outside would be death but the photo would be great. Anyways it's too cold for me to work, so I'm staying home again. I do love to work, but I must admit it is hard to get myself to go outside in these temperatures. I've learned in the construction business (in ND) that the body and equipment can function until -20 real temp or -25 wind chill. Below that problems occur and it takes a lot of hot water to thaw myself out when I get home. This is really not a joke, and I know some of you might be able to relate with this. The only other good news I have about myself is that I broke down and bought a snow blower at Fleet Farm. I'm not going to lie I do feel more manly but no one probably cares......unto the stuff that grandparents care about...Gabe is doing well but for the last couple of weeks he's turned himself into a night sleeping diva. He's waking up a lot and is demanding our attention. I'm sure he wants both mom and dad's attention but it just so happens that mom is the first to respond to these needs. We are trying to use all sorts of tricks without letting him cry it out. Let us know if you have any ideas that work. I still think all of this is coming to a climactic night in which we have to just let him go. That's going to be hard. Please no Office jokes. Well, it's 9 am and Gabe is happily sitting on my lap trying to get to the keyboard. This is what he wants to write: cu bnmn,m jhjjhjh mmjujdfjubrnuhbguii b b hhyj vucyvcv vgy. Thanks Gabe. If anyone can translate that you will soon be making millions. Now is the time for me to add photos for those who don't like to read the rubbish.

Christmas on the Way!
Hey Friends,
Aaron here. We are getting excited for the holidays. Julie has one more week of work and then she gets 2 long awaited weeks off. We've been busy doing all sorts of things. Julie has been hosting Tupperware and toy parties, she's been Christmas shopping, and loving on her baby. I've been working on installing basketball hoops at our church (which is taking me a long time) and whenever I get a chance I've been working on the basement project. Real work for me is going well. It is getting cold but I'm still young and my body is holding up fine for now (talk to me in late February and I'll have a different opinion). Gabe is doing well. He's a night owl. He loves to stay up as late as he can every night (no matter what we do) . He doesn't want to miss a thing. This is fine but I know that someday he's going to have to have a set bedtime. Anyways thanks for reading. Looking forward to the holidays with you.

Thanksgiving Good Times

Hello Friends,
This is Aaron typing.....Well, last weekend was something else. We mostly visited with the Stroh side. All 4 of those boys are fun to be around.
Some of the highlights were the great meals, Gabe's first visit with Santa, shopping without reason with Tyler, nearly buying a "dumb and dumber" motorcycle, starting the process of storing 80 gallons of gas for next summer, laughs, and most importantly Gabe was formally welcomed by our Church. It is a fantastic feeling knowing that our son will have a opportunity to know and grow with the Lord at Calvary (he is sitting in my lap right now is trying to suck my hands and arms while I type). Thanks to everyone who has helped us out and supported us........
What a good looking family

Gabe and Santa
